Just wanted to hop on here and have a little rant of my day so far...
Started off great honestly, woke up early said screw the make up today let's get this pink drink and head to the bank, it's 9AM and we're out of the house which is fantastic. Get to Starbucks, I'm ordering my usual pink drink light ice but today I was feeling a trenta size (32oz) time to get things DONE today! I pull up and they accidentally just made me the strawberry refresher instead of the pink drink, so I got both! I was stoked thinkin it's gonna be a good day. We head back home to eat some breakfast before we go to the park.
I kid you not, RIGHT before we were going to head out the door, I'm on Instagram taking a video announcing my company's new skincare launch tomorrow (SUPER excited about it I'll make another post when I get the products!) and McKenzie poops all over me on my clothes... uhg. Mom life. Craziest part was that it got NO WHERE on her...HOW in the world. I quickly soak my clothes in stain remover and throw it in the wash, not stopping my day!
So now we get to the park, we have a few we go to that I really like. Of course, it's Saturday and there's a birthday party going on. Super stressful for me because Camille is my social butterfly and will go up to everyone asking for a piece of cake, and will throw a fit if she doesn't take home one of those balloons so I drive passed it not even gonna chance it LOL (any other moms the same?) We head to our secondary park, still not letting that ruin this day. In the meantime Camille is in the backseat wearing her pink Crocs all distressed because they're made of plastic...what is my child, saying she doesn't want to wear them. I finally talk her into wearing them and she runs about the park trying to make friends with people.
McKenzie is sleeping the whole time so I'm just watching Camille since last time we were at the park she took a tumble off some equipment and bumped her eyebrow which is still bruised. She's running around telling everyone in her dress that she's a princess and these older kids are telling her that she's not so she gets upset and tells me and I just tell her it's okay, she's still a pretty princess.
Pretty soon I can tell she's tired and we're all hungry for lunch so I tell her it's time to go get some food and here comes the meltdown... really just been one of those days but somehow I smiled and laughed through all the chaos, must've been the pink drink!
