Beginning of March before this whole COVID-19 crisis, I flew down to Austin Texas to help my best friend Savannah move all the way here to Eugene Oregon! Yep, two short girls drove a giant UHAUL truck the entire way. First night we drove to Tuscon, Arizona which was 12 hours, and we didn't get to our hotel until 3AM we were exhausted. The next morning we woke up to drive to a nearby desert to see all the Cacti.
We then drove a short 7 hours to LA and stayed the night in Santa Clarita, CA. Of course we had to go enjoy the city so we took an Uber to have dinner and drinks at Lisa Vanderpump's famous SUR and PUMP. Highly recommend everyone tries their Pumptini at least once in their lifetime, you won't regret it! (one sip is all you'll need)
Our final day turned out longer than expected. We hit the road at 5AM and only had a 12 hour drive to Eugene, but we saw Yosemite wasn't too far off so we set out to explore it. Had NO idea how big the premises was and ended up getting lost and driving the UHAUL on a trail probably only meant for quads and walking. We decided we'll plan ahead next time for a week long trip to Yosemite as there is way too much to explore.
